Happy Monday! Who is ready for a new week?
I'm excited for today's post. It's always fun to arrange your photography equipment and take pictures of it...until you realize you only have one DSLR so you have to take the picture with your iPhone. True story, ha! Oh well, I still had fun arranging my gear to show you what's in my camera bag!
I shoot with a Canon 6D. I LOVE this camera, it was my first full-frame DSLR and it's great. I'm in the process of saving for a second body and I can't decide if I want another 6D or upgrade, if you have any suggestions I woiuld lov to hear your thoughts!
I have three lenses, the Canon 70-200mm 2.8, Sigma ART 35mm 1.4, and the newest member to my lens family Canon 50mm 1.4. I tragically droped my 50mm 1.8 a couple months ago and took it as an opportunity to upgrade. I have two Younguo YN560 IV speedlights and flash controller for off camera flash. I don't use off camera flash often, but I always bring it to weddings to be prepared. Finally I use a Black Rapid cross-body camera strap. It's super lightweight but if I'm being honest, the shoulder pad doesn't stay put and I'm constantly adjusting so it will probably be replaced in the near future.
Not pictured: The actual camera bag. That's because I'm in the market for one. I've been using a really cute black and brown crossbody bought on etsy, but it's falling apart. Again, I'm interested in your recomendations :)
I like to keep it simple: my camera, portrait, wide angle, and long lenses, and a flash is all I need!
Are you a photographer? What's your favorite camera and lens to use? Have a question? Let me know in the comments :)
Have a wonderful week!
